The website https://www.ssaadv.com.br (“Site”) is maintained and operated by Schalch Sociedade de Advogados (“Schalch”).

This privacy policy establishes the rules and conditions under which Schalch collects and processes information and personal data of users (“User”, “Users”) when they access the Website and its pages under the same domain.

This Policy was prepared in accordance with Federal Law No. 13.709 of August 14, 2018 (General Personal Data Protection Law), Federal Law No. 12.965 of April 23, 2014 (Civil Framework for the Internet), and other applicable legislation.

Schalch reserves the right to immediately or subsequently delete any inappropriately data sent, provided that all legal and regulatory requirements are verified and complied with.

Schalch recommends that the User carefully read the content of this Policy.

Data is collected when the User shares personal data with Schalch via message (form submission) and email, which includes:

Cookies are small text files automatically downloaded to the User’s device when they access and browse through a website. They basically serve to identify devices, activities and User preferences.

This Website does not collect personal data through cookies.

• It is necessary to exercise or defend Schalch’s rights; and
• It is requested by an order issued by a proper authority.

Schalch may carry out international data transfers, within the limits of the law and this Privacy Policy.

These personal data may, within the limits of the law, even be shared with international partners, such as entities and companies associated and integrated with Schalch.

Users’ personal data may also be transferred to other countries for the use of cloud computing services for data processing or storage.

We adopt the measures we deem appropriate to ensure the security of personal data, at least at the level established by current legislation. In the event of any security incident – that is, unauthorized access and/or accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, communication or any form of inadequate or unlawful processing – that may result in significant risk or damage to Users, Schalch will notify the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) and the User (preferably by email) about the incident.

Schalch may provide links on the Website to redirect users to third-party websites, in order to improve their browsing experience, provide information or purchase services. Schalch clarifies that this Privacy Policy does not apply to data provided by Users to any third parties other than Schalch. Such third parties may adopt different privacy and information policies regarding Users’ personal data as collected and otherwise processed by them. Schalch suggests that users consult the privacy policy applicable to such third parties before providing their personal data.

The User, as data subject (“data subject”), has the right to obtain, at any time and upon request:

Confirmation of the existence of the processing of their personal data by Schalch;

• Access to their personal data;
• Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated personal data;
• Anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary, excessive personal data or data processed in non-compliance with the provisions of the law;
• Portability of personal data to another service or product provider;
• Deletion of personal data processed with the consent of the data subject;
• Information on public and private entities with which Schalch shared personal data;
• Information about the possibility of not providing consent for the processing of users’ personal data and about the consequences of refusal;
• Withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data; and
• Full electronic copy of their personal data, when the processing originates from the consent of the data subject or from a contract.

The data subject may also object, at any time and upon request, to processing carried out based on one of the hypotheses of exemption from consent provided for by law, in the event of non-compliance with that law.

If the User wishes to exercise the rights provided for above or to report complaints, claims, abuses or violations of this Privacy Policy or clarify doubts, they may contact Schalch through the channel provided in this Privacy Policy, in the “Personal Data Protection Officer” section.

Schalch will store User’s data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected. The data may, however, continue to be stored under the terms and for other purposes authorized by law, such as for the purpose of fulfilling legal or regulatory obligations by Schalch.

This Privacy Policy will be interpreted in accordance with Brazilian law, with the Court of the Central Judicial District of the State of São Paulo being elected, with express waiver of any other, however privileged it may be, to resolve any doubt, discussion or dispute arising from this Privacy Policy.
