Course on the New Insurance Law Begins with Critical Analysis of the New Regulatory Framework

On September 3rd, the course “New Insurance Law: Risks, Challenges, and Strategic Decisions” officially began, hosted by Faculdade Bela Vista and academically coordinated by Dr. Débora Schalch.

The opening lecture provided a detailed overview of Law No. 15.040/2024. It also highlighted key gaps in the legislation, its immediate impact on the insurance sector, and the challenges the market will face in adapting to the new rules.

The course features a distinguished faculty composed of experts working directly in regulation, insurance, infrastructure, and complex litigation. Each instructor will lead a dedicated session, covering topics ranging from technical analysis of contract clauses to the economic and strategic implications of the new law.

In addition to legal content, the course offers practical discussions on decision-making, risk management, and compliance strategies—essential areas for professionals dealing with insurance and regulation.

SSA’s role in the academic coordination reinforces our commitment to producing and sharing relevant technical knowledge for the industry. This ensures that participants can apply the concepts in practice and anticipate both legal and strategic impacts.
